The Charlie Straight Grab Bar is a classic and streamlined safety bar that integrates seamlessly into a variety of settings. Designed with flexibility in mind, this bar is fully customizable and available in multiple lengths, finishes, and configurations—including a knurled version for code-compliant applications.

Choose from two surface options:

• Smooth – Refined and minimalist; suitable for residential and design-forward spaces.
• Knurled – A functional, high-grip texture that meets Ontario Building Code (OBC) and ADA requirements for accessibility and safety. Ideal for public or regulated environments where grip resistance is essential.

Knurled Finish Disclaimer
Please note that knurled finishes are hand-applied and may show slight variations in texture, edge sharpness, or pattern consistency. Due to the manual finishing process and the scale of the product, achieving perfect uniformity is not possible. These subtle differences are part of the craftsmanship and do not affect performance or overall appearance. Most users do not notice these nuances in everyday use.

Please Note:
The smooth version may not meet code requirements for grip in regulated spaces. If your project requires enhanced safety or accessibility compliance, select the knurled variant, which offers increased grip and meets public-use standards.

Material(s)

• Standard finishes: Satin Stainless Steel, Flat Black
• Available in custom finishes: Gloss white, polished stainless steel
• Maximum 36" length finishes: Polished brass, satin brass, antique brass

Material Notes:

• Antique and oxidized finishes are fabricated by hand and result in inconsistent and organic surface textures.
• Lacquered materials have a protective coating to maintain their shine, while unlacquered materials will naturally age and develop a unique patina over time. For maintenance tips, refer to our care guide.
• Most finishes are initially lacquered. Satin Nickel, Satin Chrome, and Satin Stainless are unlacquered. Oxidized Bronze is lacquered as standard but can be provided unlacquered upon request.
